The Art World started as a small art dealer also doing custom framing in the late 1970’s, dealing mainly with oil paintings and collectibles.  But as the time went on, the art industry was on the rise and so was The Art World. 

Since the 1980’s, The Art World has established itself as a worthy competitor against other art dealers across Canada and the name The Art World was becoming well recognized. During the late 1980’s there was a boom and a high demand in the art market for a new niche. This niche was limited edition prints from well known artists such as Robert Bateman and Thomas Kinkade. The Art World did not pass on the opportunity to deal with this new type of art and it saw it as an area in which to expand into and to develop.

Since then The Art World has established its name in Canada as an authorized dealer in fine quality limited edition prints. Having grown, The Art World now has two locations, with it’s main retail location in Kingsway Garden Mall in Edmonton providing the best quality service and competitive prices around.
